Parker's Story
PARKER'S STORY
Parker Michael was a young man with a generous spirit, a sharp mechanical mind, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. From a young age, Parker "Park" loved working on engines and learning how things worked. Being a mechanic wasn’t just something he was good at—it was something he truly loved.
When Parker wasn’t working on vehicles, he found peace on the water with a fly rod in his hand. Fly fishing gave him a sense of calm and connection to nature that reflected his quiet strength and thoughtful spirit, Park called it "his church."
More than anything, Parker was known for his kindness and loyalty to the people he loved. His presence left a lasting impression on family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
On November 21, 2025, Parker’s life ended far too soon. The loss left an unimaginable void in the hearts of those who loved him.
In the midst of profound grief, Lines of Hope – The Parker Michael Foundation was created to honor Parker’s life and ensure that his legacy continues to bring compassion, awareness, and hope to others.
Emergency Survivor Closets
Lines of Hope proudly supports Emergency Survivor Closets that serve victim survivors through the Kent County Sheriff's Office Victim Services Unit.
When victims experience trauma, violence, or crisis, many are forced to leave everything behind - often with only the clothes on their back. These closets provide essential items that help restore dignity, comfort, and stability during an incredibly difficult time.
The closets may include items such as:
• Clothing
• Hygiene and personal care products
• Comfort items
• Basic daily necessities
Through this program, survivors receive not only professional support but also tangible care during the earliest moments of recovery.
It is a simple but meaningful way to extend compassion and cast hope to those who need it most.
